Privacy at a glance

This app is a non-commercial learning application.

By default, no data is transmitted to us or to third parties. You can optionally consent to the collection of usage statistics — this consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.

Data stored on your device

The app stores your learning progress exclusively on your own device.

This includes, for example:

• learning progress
• quiz results

This data does not leave your device and is accessible only to you.

Advertising and tracking

This app uses:

• no advertising
• no cross-app or cross-device tracking
• no sharing of data for advertising purposes

Usage statistics (only with your consent)

If you give your consent in the app's privacy settings, we collect usage statistics via Google Analytics for Firebase (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

We collect:

• which exercises and screens you open, and how you work through them
• which features you use, such as favorites and repeat mode
• technical and session data: a random device identifier, device type, app version and country

We do not collect your answers, the specific words and verbs you practice, your name, your email address, or any other personal data.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Transfer outside the EU/EEA, in particular to the USA, cannot be ruled out; Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers. Data linked to a device identifier is retained for 14 months. Aggregated statistics that cannot be linked to a device are kept longer.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, in the app's privacy settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing, as well as the rights to data portability and to object. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time, with effect for the future.

To exercise these rights, please contact the email address given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Your locally stored learning progress does not leave your device and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app.

Data processing by app stores

When you download the app, the respective app store (e.g. Google Play or Apple App Store) may process data independently. We have no influence over this.

Changes

If the functionality of the app changes, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
